Australian Boomers punched their ticket in Tokyo Olympics men's basketball tournament semifinals after crushing Argentina, 97-59.

The Boomers pulled up in the 4th quarter, outscoring the Argentinians, 37-11.

Patty Mills led the Boomers with 18 points on 7/15 shooting including 3 made three pointers. Matisse Thybulle tallied 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Three others scored in double figures.

Nicolas Laprovittola led Argentina in scoring with 16 points. Luis Scola only scored 7 points on what could be his final game for Argentina and in the Olympics.
